In a breathtaking graphic novel, Dutch artist Barbara Stok transports us into the profound and inspiring world of Vincent van Gogh, capturing his days brimming with creativity and experimentation in Arles, in the south of France. Far from the bright lights of Paris, Vincent finds himself enchanted by the charm of nature and the vibrant colors of the South, living moments of renewal that he transforms into timeless, life-filled masterpieces.

Vincent dreams of a Yellow House that becomes a haven for artists—a place where he and his friends can share passion and creativity. But as his bouts of mental unrest intensify, he faces an ongoing struggle between his boundless imagination and his fragile state of mind. When his friend Paul Gauguin refuses to stay in the Yellow House, Vincent reaches a breaking point, leading him to sever part of his ear—a powerful testament to the depth of his turmoil and inner conflict.

Even so, his brother Theo remains a beacon of hope, supporting him with rare devotion and love.
